Before ordering something personalised
- Check the supplier's current terms, total delivered cost and delivery destination.
- Read the proof at the intended print size, including spelling, crop and binding margins.
- Check the rules for correcting or cancelling a personalised order. Do not assume ordinary returns terms apply.
- Keep an independent copy of the pictures and captions.
- Ask permission where photographs or personal stories involve other people.
The detail that makes it theirs
A short handwritten note can explain why a particular photograph matters. Choose a format around the recipient's home and habits, and make it easy to enjoy. More pages or a larger frame are not automatically more thoughtful.
